Who is number 8?

Number 8 Creative is me, Thea, a lifelong story teller. My journey began outside the film industry, as a content creator and professional game master, crafting immersive worlds, managing groups, and guiding players through high-stakes narratives. This has shaped my approach to film production, basing everything I do in cooperative storytelling, a collaborative approach to facilitation and creativity, and a team-centered approach to leadership.

From shooting and editing my own content to share my experiences in adventure sports, to managing post production, to producing and directing short films, I’ve loved every step of this adventure. And as an organisational psychologist, I have all the academic jargon to explain why it’s been so enjoyable! I’m a producer, an editor, a writer, an emerging director… I’m a creative like you!

A passion and respect for storytelling, and the ability to bring people together, drives how I support filmmakers and creatives. Balancing imaginative vision with practical structure helps bring ideas and vision into fruition.
